Mad Max and Far Cry 5 New Dawn. I tried everything thus far. Reinstalling and all that. Even tried the WIN11 method. Still the same issue. I saw online where it is mentioned that some games do not do not work well with the E-cores of this CPU and even has a list of games that aren't working with WIN10 and 11 with this CPU.
Far Cry 3. i literally cant launch the game i bought it today on steam, and when i click play it is just green for a couple of seconds and then it goes back to blue. I tried reinstalling, i tried verifying integrity, i tried doing the shortcut trick, it didnt allow me to change the path. Nothing works. I tried launching in admin.
The game is Installed on steam, or Just on my disk drive. I tried to sign up for Ubisoft connect, but its saying that my email is already used for another account even when I have never had an account, and Ubisoft connect is not installed/running. I have not reviewed the pcgamingwiki page. r/farcry.
Far Cry 4 has these transparent boxes over all the houses that are able to enter into which I think it's something to do with lighting. I did not have this problem with my AMD 470 before, I also tried different drivers, settings, reinstalled game, reinstalled directx, reinstalled Visual C++ and still same thing.
This is the only one that just does not want to work. Ill play around with it some more to see if I cant get it going. Was readining other forums, no sound is a common occurance.
also. verify your files if you bought the game thru Steam ..\EXIT Steam ..right click your steam icon ..select run as Administrator. to launch Steam. then go to your Steam games library. right clik on your game (fc 3 4 whatever) select properties. select local files. select verify Integrity of game cache.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, verified installation & restarted after deleting the "missing" file, I've attempted to run the .exe as admin, checked firewall settings weren't blocking uplay or Far Cry 5, and I've tried running the game with my anti-virus software disabled. However, I'm still unable to launch the game.

check your backround applications many can cause the game to fail on launch .. things like Discord .. and there is also a list in the tips secrtion pinned up top of this forum see section #10 of Known apps that can cause this due to too many in game overlays. If you continue to have issues PLEASE.

Ubisoft updated the Ubisoft Connect version of the game and do not need to patch these altered .dlls anymore. To use the same fix on Steam version, I had to copy both .dlls and .exes from Ubisoft Connection installation folder into Steam's Blood Dragon installation folder.

STEAM doesn't alter Windows. STEAM doesn't even have to be running. When you Rclick on a file (in this case the shortcut for FC)there will be a "Properties" line at the bottom. Clic
or reinstall from your far cry 4 support folder thats installed to your hard Drive along with your game files. its located in Program files 86 what ever your steam drive is. Steam \ steam apps \ common \far cry 4 \ support \ software \ direct X ..run DX setup. also do try verify your game files. game launches fine here with the same version of
So whenever I click play, a steam window pops up and says "preparing to launch Far Cry" as per usual but then nothing happens. Then the steam window pops up over and over again, as if the game is trying to launch but can't. I have already tried verifying my game files, but to no avail.
Originally posted by Category Theory: Ensure not only that Far Cry 3 is not running, but also that Uplay is not running. That may help. Regardless, it's a good idea, if you haven't done it already, to uninstall Uplay from your system and re-install the latest version downloaded from Ubisoft. Steam tends to install an old version of Uplay that Ok so update to this, i found that downloading Far Cry 3 and taking the systemdetection.dll file from THAT game and overwrite it onto Far Cry 2 bin folder. Better SYS detect for -> newer systems that the original FC2 install detect couldn't possibly have been geared for.
