Posted May 16, 2012. My lady has just come home and told me that the red light on the dash of her Focus C-Max (I think it is the immobiliser light) was flashing when she was driving it home. The light usually stops flashing when you open the car on the key fob or if using the spare place it in the ignition. The alarm hasn't gone off at all and The code is usually repeated about 10 times and will signify a two number code i.e.-. Flash flash pause flash would be code 2,1. These codes assist in diagnosing immobiliser faults. If the light flashes rapidly with a long amount of flashes it usually means the key is not recognised at all. From Fordwiki-.
